Aron Bakka was born and raised in Kampala. He attended Bugolo Secondary School. Upon completion of his schooling, he played in various professional soccer leagues for three years in Uganda. He then received the calling to serve Christ in his daily life and began volunteering with Peaceful Children African Hearts. He pastors a street ministry in Kisenyi slum, ministering to the homeless and counseling street children. He is currently the Director of Redeem A Child Organization and is managing a residential shelter for street children from the Kisenyi slum. He also coaches various children’s soccer teams. Pastor Aron lives in Kampala with his wife, Leah (a nurse) and his two natural sons, Nathan and Norman, and two adopted street children, Tamale and Reagan.
